Amartya Sen on the idea of justice

Amartya Sen spoke earlier this month to the Carnegie Council about his new book “The Idea of Justice”.

He says some very interesting things, like “the need for impartiality in the treatment of different citizens within the country is accepted and celebrated, but there is no secure place in this formulation of deliberations of justice to go beyond the citizens of a particular state.” Continue reading ‘Amartya Sen on the idea of justice’

World Vote Now film

We’re linking up with Joel Marsden, the Madrid-based director of World Vote Now to arrange a number of screenings of his film across the UK.

The film is premiering at the Amsterdam International Documentary Festival in November.
